The Tighties Minimalist Wallet

Have you ever thought to yourself "I just wish I could store my cards and cash in tiny, stretchy, colourful underpants"...? Well of course you have! After all, if it's good enough for your crotch, it's good enough for your cards my friends. Finally someone is addressing this, up until now, grossly overlooked lifestyle choice. Brother-in-laws Joseph and Brooks, based in Boise, Idaho present to you: The Tighties Wallet on Kickstarter.

The Tighties Wallet

The Tighties wallet is so much more than just a pair of underpants for your cards though. The designers wanted to focus on the bare minimum of material, with the maximum utility. This is the essence of the Tighties wallet, and why it came into being. 

Designed so it can fit just about anything the width of a credit card or smaller, the Tighties is intended to be something of a pocket or purse organiser. Slip in a small notepad with a pencil when needed, or throw in your USB stick to avoid it sliding out of your pocket on the train and all your highly sensitive information being stolen by pesky North Korean spies (that's just a joke Kim-Jong, don't be hacking our website, now). You get the idea, the Tighties is intended to be as flexible as you need. 

The Material

Made out of a high-quality silicone rubber, the Tighties should be pretty durable, and not lose it's shape, no matter how much you cram in there. It also means it is waterproof and should be fairly resistant to marks and scuffs from usual every-day wear and tear.

The designers have also said you can shove it in the dishwasher if it needs a quick clean - now that is handy, can't say I've heard any other wallets boasting that feature. Apparently it's even freezer proof... that's something everyone looks for in a wallet... right??

Carrying Capacity

The wallet is designed to hold between 1-6 cards, a few business cards and your cash. However, the designers do go on to claim they have been able to cram it full of 17 cards, 8 notes, 5 business cards and a key - so chances are your pocket or back will give out before this thing does!

There is also a keyring loop on the side of the wallet which allows the attaching of keys. The wallets actually also come with a stainless steel key loop to attach if you wish. This is optional, but means that you can attach a key, then slip it into the wallet itself so it's not jangling around loose in your pocket.
