Who needs wallets when you have Coin

December 12, 2013 1 min read 0 Comments

Why buy a wallet at all when you can put it all on one card.

With cash on it's way out could bank cards be next? Coin would like to think so.

Coin has created a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connected card (approximately the size of a single credit card) that can store all your swipe-able cards and be used to pay everywhere cards are accepted, all in real time.

Great idea, but unfortunately for us Europeans (who are well ahead with Chip and Pin) this will not be very useful. Being on the verge celebrating it's 9th Birthday the average 17 year old behind the till at Tesco is not going to know what to do with a swipe only card.
