The Band-it wallet is in it's 4th iteration - the clue is in the name there - but surprisingly, this is the first time we've come across it. After what looks to have been a slightly rocky beginning to the original Band-it wallet on Kickstarter, version 3.0 seems to have been met with resoundingly positive responses from backers, which bodes well for this newest project.
Band-it is a leather wallet, but at heart it's the elastic that seems to be doing the real work. It is one of the more minimalist designs we've seen, but packs in a fair few features. The main card slot sits on one side of the main opening, whereas the other is a magnetic "stealth" pocket, which can store keys, coins or other small objects you might carry. It was just the other day we were talking about minimal wallets that are good for coins, so if the Band-it 4.0 delivers, it would put it right up there as an option.
The bandit consists of a leather bottom and elastic opening. There's a choice of plain or dotted leather and a huge array of colour options as shown below, as well as blue and purple options that were unlocked recently as stretch goals.
The Bandit 4.0 specifications are as follows:
The Band-it 4.0 is already funded, so this project should be going ahead. To pledge or find out more, visit the Band-it 4.0 Kickstarter, or check out the video below.
